The JA English Coach English Speaking Club is now open for enrollment the only club with the Jamaican Vibe!!! If you have been looking for a platform to improve your English speaking skills and gain confidence in your conversations, this club is the perfect opportunity for you.
I have designed this English Speaking Club to provide a supportive and interactive environment for learners of all levels. Here are the key details you need to know:
- Rules of the Club:
- Respect: Treat fellow club members with respect and kindness.
- We only speak in English!
- Participation: Engage actively in discussions and activities.
- Constructive Feedback: Provide helpful feedback to others, focusing on improvement.
- No negativity
- Join the session based on your level.
- Stay on the topic of the discussions
- If you don't like the topic you are free to not join the session.
- How it Works:
- Weekly Meetings: We will have weekly meetings via video conference where members can practice their English speaking skills. For now, we are looking to meet every Saturday/Sunday at different times to accommodate different time zones. The times will be provided once you enroll. As we continue to grow more days will become available.
- Topics and Themes: Each session will revolve around specific topics and themes to encourage diverse discussions. Not for kids as we are going to talk about all kinds of things.
- Guided Conversations: Our experienced language coaches will facilitate conversations, provide guidance, and offer language tips. It will be Monifa but sometimes there will be other teachers.
- Games Night and Show/Movie Night: once a month so we can discuss it together and just have fun!
- Chat Session Time - The sessions will be 45 minutes long. No more than 10 students to a session. So everyone gets the chance to talk and have fun.
- Game Night - 45 minutes to however long we feel like, it is no more than 10 to a session.
- Watch Party (we watch a movie or series together and then talk about it) - Depending on the length of the show but the discussion that follows the show will be 30 minutes, no cap on the number of students!

- Payment Options:
- Membership Fee: The club membership fee is $15 USD per month, which includes access to one speaking session per week for the month and all the activities you want to join. If you miss a session one week you let me know and you will be able to have a make-up session.

4. What Will Happen in the Speaking Club:
- Interactive Sessions: Members will engage in role plays, debates, group discussions, and other activities to practice spoken English.
- Pronunciation Practice: We will focus on improving pronunciation and fluency through exercises and drills.
- Vocabulary Building: Expand your vocabulary with word games, idioms, and expressions commonly used in English conversations.
- Feedback and Support: Receive valuable feedback from coaches and peers to enhance your speaking skills.
