I REALLY NEED THIS POST TO GO VIRAL - This is where a post you create reaches a large audience and spreads quickly. This is a great thing as it brings visibility.

I CAN'T STAND THESE SOCIAL MEDIA TROLLS - These are people who start arguments on social media for no reason. Almost like social media bullies.

I AM TIRED OF THESE CLICKBAIT POSTS - These are posts that have headlines that will attract you to click through but then the content was not even worth it.

TO THROW SHADE - To give someone some kind of dirty look.

I CAN'T EVEN - This is where you find it hard to show your emotions whether good or bad.

LIT - This is used to talk about something that is really great and 'happening'

TO SLIDE IN SOMEONE'S DM's - This is where you randomly send a direct message to someone. Usually, someone, you are not so familiar with.

THIRSTY - This is when someone is too desperate or eager for attention.

ON FLEEK - This means that something is on point.

SQUAD GOALS - Something that you want your group to become.

SAVAGE - This means something is rough or harsh.

SLAY - This is when you do something really well.

UNDERSTAND THE ASSIGNMENT - This means that someone understands exactly what they need to do in a situation.

VOCABULARY

VIRAL: This is where something posted reaches a large audience quickly.

INFLUENCER: This person is considered important online and have an impact on the decision people that follow them make.

HASHTAG: A word or group of words that come after a number sign. (#) These usually are linked to content that is similar.

ALGORITHM: These are skills used by a computer or system that have to do with calculations or problem-solving.

CONTENT: This is anything that is shared with others.

FOLLOWERS: A person who subscribes to you for updates. (mostly used on IG and TW)

INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER (ISP): This is the company that gives you internet service.

PAGE VIEWS: The number of visitors that see your page. (usually used with blogs)

PROFILE VIEWS: The number of persons that view your profile.

EMAIL SERVICE PROVIDER (ESP) - This is whatever software you use to send your e-mails.

Social media slang is used all the time whether it is on the internet or with social media. It usually changes, it behaves like a trend, and new ones get added all the time.
